Almost every ship is a weak poor ship. Ichiruki has the advantage of having more content and more thought put into it, but Kubo didn't want them to be lovers. Ichihime has the one-sided love the entire manga run, but it's just exactly that, a one-sided love. Renruki is barely mentioned because of ham-fisted it was, people don't take it seriously which is why the Ichihime fan content has gone up but the Renruki fan content has stayed dead. People excuse the poor romance with "B-BUT BLEACH ISN'T A ROMANCE SO ITS NOT IMPORTANT" but Kubo was the one who decided to end the series with a married ships despite one being one-sided or in the case of Renruki zero-sided. He should have added real emotionally-charged moments for Renruki after the SS arc, especially since they had the perk of growing up together, but he screwed it up, she didn't even think of him while fighting As Nodt which is unacceptable. As for Ichihime, he should have given Ichigo a scene where he thinks she's super pretty or something, it's weird how she's supposedly the school idol but he's never flustered by her outside of that one time she was wearing a super revealing outfit and we saw him get that flustered with Rangiku and Yoruichi in the past so it was nothing special.
