How did they do it? And why can't other AAA Devs do it? If there's one thing to criticise on a technical level, it would be that foliage is incredibly static and unresponsive, just like in Horizon games

I put about 170 hours into ds1 and loved it, but 2s game play feels completely brainless. I got seriously worried when journos said during the preview event that it felt frictionless, but they werent kidding, you can basically go in a straight line between any objective. There's no mountains in the way or BT forests. The weather stuff shown in the trailer has been entirely irrelevant. What went wrong? How is this considered an improvement over the sequel?
