It depends, what do you intend to do with it? What smartphone do you have currently? I have a Galaxy Tab A8 that I got for cheap and in good condition, but I did because my use case is basic and I have a Galaxy smartphone too, it feels nice to use, however if your use case is more complex I'd go for something more powerful, and if you have an iPhone I'd go for the iPad.

I have the money for it, but my Tab A8 works well enough for my daily usecase, so I don't see much of a point when I could instead save that money and/or spend it on other more important things for me currently, maybe in the future I'll upgrade, however that's not one of my priorities right now, the Tab A8 just works and it cost me almost nothing, love this thing a lot.
