You know... it gets easier the second time. Though admittedly this is a lot shorter to so perhaps that helps. Have a little bit of slice of life.


"...Goats." Was all venti said. Staring at the herd of white shaggy goats that were grazing on the temples overgrown garden.
"Goats" The old man beside agreed nodding. The younger of the pair stares for a bit longer, watching weeds be chewed up. "So is there a reason we have goats in the garden." He finally broaches the obvious question.
"Goats are useful, they can give meat, milk. You can make cheese out of it. We need to eat something. Unless your fine with still foraging for whatever you can find in the forest. You end up developing a taste for roots?" Zhon Li snorts grinning. He takes a step into the herd only to send the animals moving back away from the priest. "Skittish things, aren't they? Well... their get used to us." The old man steps back. "The rest of the gardens still going to need to be cleaned up to though. So get to it boy!" Venti just sighed. "Yeah yeah... I'll get on it." He nods crouching down to pick out the stones and rubble that had fallen into the garden. "I warn you though. I know nothing about... herding." Venti grumbles reluctantly as he drops rocks into the wooden bucket he had carried into the courtyard.
"Well, I'll just have to teach you then. I know a lot about herding." Zhon li says simply. Just watching them work.
"You say that about practically everything." The traveler grumbles rolling his eyes. "And it's true every time! Besides someone has to know what they're doing between us. You don't get to my age without knowing a thing or two."
"Sure, sure old bastard. Just as long as we get some decent food in the end." Venti chuckles before groaning as he hefts another rock.
