>Thoughts so far
I'll start by complaining about the mission tree.
>Chapter Recruits
This mission requires having 100+ relations with certain nations. Problem is, one of those nations if Gawed. If the player does not complete the mission before turning Corinite, congrats, that's a -20 modifier. Don't think about sending gifts or anything of that sort; with how much money they're making, your 1 year income is a little over 1 month income for them. And if you get a border with them, like I did? That -20 becomes a -40. The only thing you can do is to rival them, which is unprecedentedly harder than it sounds like it should be.
>The Great Purge
It requires having -90 Corinite paragonhood. If you do not do it fast enough (or worse, start stacking positive modifiers), it becomes increasingly harder to do. In my case, I founded a shitload of firebrand orders and started purging the Ruinborn. The former's a waste of military mana (in my humble opinion) and the latter would probably be quite immersion breaking for someone more into roleplay.
>All the League War missions
Fun fact: if the League War already began, these missions will be skipped. I only have to ask: WHY is this not mentioned anywhere??? Had the League War started sooner, I'm certain I would've had better success (...then again, someone with less skill issue could've won the League War as it had turned out for me).
>Other
The fort missions have caused me to build some forts very close by; some of them are, put it simply, useless because of how nonstrategic their positions are overall. At least they keep devastation down. The Castonath mechanics could've been better explained, but that might just be me.
Regardless, I'm still having a fair amount of fun playing Corintar. The Consilidation Wars are fast approaching, will see how that goes.
