As someone pushing 40 who loved the trilogy, even I can't understand why this ever became a project. The original trilogy cleanly wrapped itself up, and was so long ago...it's weird that they didn't finish remaking the trilogy for new players first. I guess the Prime1 remake really was just a proof of concept they decided to sell.
