We aren't entirely certain on the specifics. I like the "chesire cat face that can just apply itself to stuff" idea though.
The circles the "pointed tail" is made of being the same as the style described in Noelle's cat game does make me think it *started* with Noelle fucking with shit, and then it just kind of started persistently haunting the town.
Also Susie's chair doesn't make much sense because it implies her room became a dark world, which I'm doubtful of?
My guess is it was some random piece of Gaster or something that ended up in Noelle's game either because of or causing her connection with weird game glitches, and then she just taught it *very* bad things which it started doing when it "hatched"

Horrid fucking beast that I hate
I hope Toby actually has it be a horrible evil thing and not a funny haha thing. It seems to be mimicking a lot of Flowey stuff and I can *guess* that it's just doing the shit noelle taught it in her fucked up catpetterz game, assuming it WAS the egg she had. So I think chances are good it's actually Evil.
