wat, they wear the braking surface too just like rotors, they should have a discard measurement stamped somewhere for the inside diameter. you'll probably also have a hard time finding someone who can cut them these days so reusing them with new shoes without a resurface risks pedal pulsation and increased noise, just like pad slapping over old rotors
