I love idea of pokemons as a various friendly(and not so friendly) monsters, but in mainline games they are so ridicilously focused on battling that all other aspects of their lives simply disappear and they turn from full-fledged individuals with their own character, preferences, history, hobbies, fears into, at best, weak-willed dumb pets, and, at worst, mindless combat slaves. So fuck 'em, and fuck all that stupid human drama, I wanna enjoy everyday life and struggles of this magical critters, not another average humie.
