Isn't this an impressive holodeck? See, in the future, they've gone way past AI image-generation and video-generation, and can make full-blown 3D environments than one can interact with! And there are no contradictions whatsoever in Trek's depiction of this! Like, in the first episode of TNG, Wesley fell into the water, and was sopping wet even after leaving the holodeck. Later, they claimed that all matter in the holodeck isn't real, and so it disappears as soon as you leave. But no, this wasn't a contradiction caused by sloppy writing. No, it was a test of your faith! If you can't reconcile these opposing facts in your mind, then you simply don't believe enough, and "real" Trek fans will declare you an apostate and cast you out! But you don't want that, do you? You want to belong, right? To conform? To think like everyone else? I knew you did! Good anon! Here, have a num-num.
