If some guy makes a piece of media that provides countless hours of joy and entertainment to millions of people, then he deserves to make money from it.
You should pay the creator a few bucks for enriching your life, and hopefully encourage them to make more of such content in the future.
People ought to be rewarded proportionally for producing quality work and entertainment.
This doesn't apply as much in the case of AAA studios where all of the people with creative talent are salaried employees who don't necessarily benefit from the success of the corporation.
