There are plenty of cool dungeons in Elden Ring scattered throughout the open world. Leyndell, Stormveil, Crumbling Farum Azula, Elphael Haligtree, Shadowkeep, Enir-Ilim etc.
You could argue that it's nice to have a game with just these but it's fine if they are doing something different for once. Their next game can be classic souls closed map.
