i'm not very familiar with nooj can someone help me out and explain the hebbyQ lineages to me?
hogan is not listed in the lineage here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IWGP_Heavyweight_Championship
but he is listed as the inaugural champion of an earlier version of the hebbyQ... which seems to have been called the exact same thing and came right before the main hebbyQ without a significant length of time between them so idk why they aren't considered one line.
then there's the IGF hebbyQ that angle had but that was like a different belt because brock wouldn't bring the real one back right? but they got unified later so would you count kurt as a hebbyQ holder?
then they merged the hebbyQ with some other belt and it like destroyed the lineage and everyone hates the new belt? why not just continue the main line? like what WWE did when roman or cody unified the WWE and universal titles.
maybe this would be better suited to the njpw general but i figure i should ask here while the topic of the IWGP lineage is discussed.
