And no, normal ICBMs reaching hypersonic speeds in some stages of flight is NOT what military analysts refer to when they talk about Chinese hypersonic missiles.
It's akin to newly tumor cope of "B-2 bomber is actually a 6th gen fighter because it's a flying wing design" which sprouted in order to cope with reality that Chengdu and Shenyang are flying the world's only 6th gen fighter jets.

Americans and their allies do not have HGV or hypersonic missiles. Atmospheric ICBMs are not it and every single actual hypersonic program gets cancelled.
Americans and heir allies do not have 6th fighters either. Flying wing bombers are not it.
