He can't secure kills because of his damage. That's the problem. He's a character who requires his team to do most of the work so that he can be mid tier. But so many other actually good DPS can still set up kills for the other but also secure kills themselves. Also known as not sucking.

And because he does so little damage he charges ult way slower than everyone else which is super harsh in a game that at high level turns into ult economy.

It blows my mind that his pull let's the enemy act before him. Like it sets them up to head shot you for free and before Spiderman can act. Meanwhile someone like Bucky gets two stuns that true combo into each other with space for guaranteed shots.
