I'm barely old enough to remember the types of commercials they were parodying. I just saw the Stiller show for the first time a couple years ago and that dandruff thing unlocked ancient memories of late 80s commercials I tuned out at the time. I was just finding SNL and Letterman in the early 90s. I wouldn't have appreciated what Stiller and Odenkirk were doing until I was a bit older anyway.
