Ugh. What's the point of factions when the NPCs don't even drive cars to get around? Or care for their own animals? He should be focusing on making them do that instead. Or maybe work on a unique new mechanic to track how cumbersome a tile is based on spilled liquids/weather/corpses/items and add an additional modifier to make you slip based on that. It would really enrich the dull combat and NPCs from the ground up and serve as a necessary foundation for the brutal world they inhabit.

Of course, months of work on directional calculations and angles of fall would be necessary, as well as blending in collision animations if you were to fall over and hit something on the way down. Syncing it all for MP would be another several months. But that's just what it takes to make real kino, a mere modder wouldn't understand.
