Initially I thought Deux served a purpose to contrast Machu, but that fell through as the anime went on. It seems more like her only purpose was to provide some explosions in episode 07, as she had zero impact on anything. It's so lame, because she's such an interesting looking and acting character. But then, this is the show that completely off-screened SAYLA AND RAMBA RAL TEAMING UP AND POLITICKING TO OVERTHROW THE ZABIS.
