It's an odd fit in some ways given their inherent nature does not necessarily lend itself well to the discipline and creativity necessary to excel at the arts, but my character was raised at a young age by a dwarf man who taught him to play the lute. When his guardian succumbed to old age, he was forced to hit the road and learn the ways of the outside world that often looked down upon his ambitions due to his race.
