fly screen, easy to put up and permanent solution to this. Very fine mesh which still allows air flow fine but nothing gets in. As it's a magnetic strip adhesive on the window, the screen itself can be lifted if you need to open the window etc. Not had a single insect in my room since putting one of these on and I can leave the window open all day every day
