Shame to say that if it's PvP you're after above all else, you might want to give Classic a shot instead, even if the version difference between the two servers might as well make it an entirely different game built atop the same foundation (v32 vs. v100).
Starscape is very much a PvE-focused server, so while you might find the rare attempt at Corsair's being formed over Global Chat and LFGs here-and-there, you shouldn't go in expecting to get your Arena fix by any means.

Across plenty of MMOs which feature it, I've often found the "what-if" fantasy of idealized open world PvP tends to trump what typically takes place in reality.
1v1s which are perfectly matched in both gear and skill alike, castle sieges which span for hours on-end, large-scale armies pounding away at one another and not giving up an inch of ground... You know, stuff which almost never actually happens in MMOs featuring open world PvP.

It's an alluring image, sure, and I've no doubt plenty of Anon hold vivid memories of their days spent in DaoC, WoE in RO, crazy escapades in Archeage, etc, etc... But those high moments are almost always the exceptions rather than the rule. What more commonly transpires are one-sided ganks, unstoppable roaming deathballs, and the potential for great stories which are seldom ever properly realized.

I get it, though. Having to duck out of sight of an incoming army, or calling-in the full might of your Guild to escalate the hell out of a simple gank, is really cool in principal. But unless things are somehow gear-equalized in the open world (which to my knowledge has never once transpired in these sorts of titles), there's not much counterplay beyond "bigger number win", be that in gear or army size.
That said, those immensely rare moments where the stars align for open world PvP, and you get into an actual, proper test of skill, are super memorable all the same. It's quite the dragon for many to chase.
