What Ascians are left at this point? They must be sundered ones who got their memories back thanks to Emet, Lahabrea, and Elidibus, that's for sure, but didn't Gaius already killed some? And why the hell should they keep fighting the WoL, when he has just killed Zodiark and the very embodiment of despair that destroyed their entire civilization? Their unsundered, "complete" higher-ups failed miserably, so what do they even hope to achieve?
