Changed the palette to blue. Already I feel happy that I can see the atmosphere comin to life even with just a few fuckin blocks for buildings and some cars. I'm gonna watch movies like Bullitt and The French Connection to get some more crisp references for downtown store fronts because I'd really like to get those details right. If there's too much visual noise from the detail on buildings, maybe the buildings themselves will be completely black with the faintest color outlines with definition only showing up where light is emitted from store fronts and around neon signage.
