How the fuck can anyone genuinely believe in Mormonism?

Just a cursory glance into the life of Joseph Smith, who is more well-documented than Muhammad, shows that he was just a conman, a swindler. But not only that, he was a sexual degenerate. Unironically Mormonism is more retarded than Islam, because at least we're far more detached from the life of Muhammad and many details of his life are not as clear. (I still believe Muhammad was a child rapist, just like Joseph Smith.)

Here's a list of the shady shit that Joseph Smith did:
-Married over 30 women, including teens and already-married women, often in secret
-Hid polygamy from his first wife, Emma, and denied it publicly
-Claimed God commanded women to marry him or risk damnation
-Destroyed the Nauvoo Expositor press for criticizing him
-Founded an illegal bank (Kirtland Safety Society) that failed, costing followers their money
-Fled from legal consequences and angry former followers in Ohio
-Claimed both spiritual and political authority, even having himself anointed "King" in a secret council. He ran for president.
-His first Book of Mormon had no punctuation and was written like a 1st grader had wrote it
-Pressured followers to obey him by declaring dissent as rebellion against God
-Engaged in treasure digging and folk magic in his youth for money
-Changed and edited revelations and scripture over time to suit evolving theology or control

The Mormon Cult was created by Joseph Smith, who was a kiddie diddler and a conman, to secure power for himself. It was all a massive con so he could make himself a cult leader. His successor was much the same, thats why he fucked off to Utah outside the reach of the government.
