Day 4.
I explored the mysterious Ruins of Alph and managed to catch an Unown—an odd addition to my team, but a curious one. From there, I trained in the Sprout Tower, where I also caught a mischievous Ghastly lurking among the shadows. Feeling prepared, I challenged Violet City’s Gym Leader, Falkner. Despite being blinded by several Sand Attacks, Geodude stood firm and managed to take down Pidgey with raw determination and a barrage of Tackles. Then Mareep stepped up, zapping Pidgeotto with Thunder Shock and even paralyzing it to slow the bird’s aerial assault. With Falkner defeated, I earned my first Johto Gym Badge. I set my sights on Azalea Town next, trekking through the winding tunnels of Union Cave. Along the way, I caught a feisty Sandshrew, and just outside the cave, I added a carefree Hoppip to my party. Now in Azalea Town, my journey continues to unfold—stronger, wiser, and more hopeful than ever.
