I think it was better than 2024's, gameplay notwithstanding.
Jack was probably the highlight for me. Seeing more of his personality and the thematic banner debut he got left a big impression. Of course finally getting Inari was also super nice and I'm interested in what he'll be up to in the story. I expected to be more into Gargoyle though. Can't really complain on the design itself, but even with the two forms thing he seems a bit one-note? Maybe that'll change once I read more stuff involving him. Oh, but there is a very important detail with him that gives him a boost: no dead wife.
