when harland said "i'm an animator too, did you know that?"

is also when sam's realization of how badly he fucked up compounded, because he realized that harland actually did prepare for the interview, and did respect sam somewhat, and did prepare some real questions, and sam realized that harland wasn't actually fucking with him.

So thats when sam panicked and started begging harland tom come to his show that night, begging harland to let him back on the show again, etc.

also, harland asked sam to tell harland about mde's journey up to that point, and sam AGAIN thought harland was fucking with him, EVEN THEN, and then harland explained that he was literally just asking a regular journalism question about mde's back story, and then sam realized, and then sam gives mde's back story of how they all met eachother, and harland leaves that in instead of cutting out, even though he cuts out every other plug, because it highlights just how defensive and weird sam is being.

i'm actually a fan of sams, but i also like harland, and i'm not like emotionally invested, i just think its so fascinating. sam humiliated him self over no reason, it was just misunderstandings.
