Loved watching this back in the 80's. Very true to form High fantasy. I also really liked how they show consequences of actions like the old seer Yineer, going to see the widow, and even though she told him he would die after gaining the knowledge, still had the will to do it and the cyclops who denied his fate to help his friends, meeting a gruesome end. THATS how you tell a story. Everything isn't always sunshine and roses, but you see the humanity, the struggle and the will to overcome.
