It actually worked on everything it was amazing. Classic what we call LAN(Ethernet) now, COM ports aka Serial and LPT aka Parallel Ports.

But we couldn't get IPs via normal LAN when connecting. Well to be more specific my 12 year old ass didn't know how to configure a local IP.
