I've noticed a trend towards playoids demanding shameless power fantasies. And these aren't Zoomers who understandably want escapism from their DoorDash and call center gigs. These are 30-something year old guys I've played gritty games like WoD and Call of Cthulhu with since the 2000's. Any system where there's a modest chance of failing at a task is dismissed as unfair.
