What the Holy Nation is and what its supposed to be are so far apart its kind of amazing they are supposed to be sexist racist and all the other ists and phobes just generally really unpleasant people to be around but in the game they have the safest territory sure some of the paladins might become suspicious if the player party has no male greenlanders but unless the player dose some thing actually illegal the paladins will protect them and even patch them up if they find the party bleeding out at the side of the road. The slavery is supposed to be their biggest moral failing but once again in practice its practically impossible to get sent to rebirth unless a player goes there and starts shit on purpose.

As for their equipment I always thought that was kind of the point you have the HN they have the agricultural base to feed a large army but lack the industry to equip all of them white good equipment VS the UC who has the industry to equip its army withe good equipment but can only barely feed their troops
