I do think it's a plausible idea since the whole concept behind the Silent King putting his people through the great sleep was because they wanted to wait for the Krorks and Aeldari to pass through their glory days and conquer the galaxy again once they weren't as big of a threat, if not extinct after 60 million years. Like even some of the novels explain that the Aeldari are also a shadow of their former selves cause Trazyn has an Aeldari champion from the War in Heaven in his collection who is said to mog every single psyker in the current setting cause that's how powerful they used to be.
