I've never fucked myself that badly for camp supplies as I am a loot goblin and I steal every 2-3 camp supply apple/potato/lemon I find in barrels I have collectively dug through hundreds of times. But it says here you should be getting SOME spell slots back at the very least. Maybe it's the low level slots that are being refunded?
