As Halsin and Shadowheart fall deeper for each other, he takes the lead as the MC running the party. His team rarely includes you so most of the game is sitting at camp with Gale and the pets and Withers asking about your relationship.
Cut scenes with them sharing a tent, laughing and playing all through the night while you try to sleep next to "gassy Gale".
The game proceeds this way where you get to hear about all the things they're doing in the world until they solve the crisis and live together in marital bliss, hiring you on as a caretaker (since you weren't involved much, you aren't entitled to much of the spoils)

Normally I am against mods that change a character. If I hated boxers, I wouldn't mod Cait to not be a boxer, she just wouldn't be my waifu. If I hated Sith, I wouldn't download a mod to make Lana not a Sith, she just wouldn't be my waifu. If I hated vampires, I wouldn't download a mod to make Serana not a vampire, Serana would just not be my waifu. If I hated scientists, I wouldn't download a mod to make Suvi not a scientist, Suvi just wouldn't be my waifu. You get the idea. If you have to fundamentally change important aspects of a character in order to like them, that means you don't actually like that character, you're just making yourself stick with them, and you're changing who they actually are in order to fit inside your idea of what you want, which is not who they are. So normally, I would be against a mod like Really Shadowheart on principal. If you don't like aspects of Shadowheart, don't download a mod that changes who she is, you should just find someone who closer resembles what you're looking for.

However, I think this case is an exception. Because Shadowheart suffers from a writer who directly contradicts himself because he couldn't keep it in his pants later in development, a mod that just removes his act 3 indulgence in his fetishes, and instead keeps the character closer to what the character said she enjoys earlier in the game, it's just fixing a writing error. It's less of a fundamental change, and more of just excising one aspect that is already contradictory and masturbatory from the author that makes the character contradict herself.

I've refrained from discussing Really Shadowheart thus far because this is an opinion and my posts only deal with facts, but since over 45,000 people have downloaded that mod I figure it's worth thinking more about and formulating an opinion on the matter. Which is: normally fundamentally changing a waifu means you don't actually like them, but in this case you're just fixing John's contradictory writing.

From a cursory glance, the mod changes appear to be mostly reasonable - fixing inconsistencies, improperly set-up flags, adding romantic fluff like hugs and a proposal. Nothing that veers into headcanon territory from what I can tell. Making skill checks to save her parents easier sounds a little questionable - why even implement DCs if the player automatically passes them - but that's a minor nitpick. Last time I checked, I didn't really like the idea that she would be immediately open to the idea of hiring the drow prostitutes on her Sharran path because that sounded reductive, and it looks like that's still there. Maybe it doesn't matter because no one who likes the character would knowingly pick the Sharran path, but still.

I have the gloves from early act 1 that increases my AC by +2, also from Act 1. I am sometimes, but just when I'm feeling it. When I do use it I spend so much time in it that it over the course of a run it'd add a lot of time to my playthroughs and I don't like to linger overlong on any one character. The cutscenes also have nice angles and fun words baked in. I look around at stuff a lot in photo mode though since it lets me get the camera really close to stuff but most of it isn't very interesting to look at.
