This, nothing short of the United States collapsing into civil war like Russia did in 1917 was going to save the Axis Powers, even then their chances of prevailing would be less than ideal because the USSR is still around and has more manpower and natural resources than Germany, Italy, and Japan put together (even if monumentally misused).
