There are also aspects of Denji that Yoru likes, which Asa doesn't. She seemed quite happy with him eating the tree cucks, and trying to blow Yoshida's brains out. Also she would've liked to see him just saw through Fakesaw without caring one bit about the random CSM fans.
They don't like Denji for the exact same reasons. Asa gets horrified by Denji's devil side, while Yoru encourages it.
However I don't think Denji is a guy who's really capable of "choosing". He only "chose" to kill Makima because Makima left him absolutely no choice on the matter. So there'd probably have to be a similar scenario between Asa and Yoru, for Denji to be forced into making a choice, although even then he might still be trying to choose "both".
