The hell possibility does not make sense because as bad as this reality is if you truly had an unrestrained sadistic God they could make it so so much worse. It would be even worse than living under the computer in I Have no Mouth and I must scream.

The retard God possibilty is a bit better but it suffers from the problems of why Sofia (the equivalent of an insane unwed teenage mother on drugs) was ever allowed to get that far in a perfect divine realm where such a thing could happen and why this universe would not be resuced or destroyed as soon as it was created. Also once again why is the spiritual realm so concealed from us... but another possibilty makes more sense.
