Im guessing Columbine stuck not only for being the "originator" but also due to the detailed planning and methodical actions these two had. They werent just full of hatred and rage, they were truly malicious.

Texting was huge yeah. The amount of anxiety and stress a simple SMS would cause was unreal.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug and also a form of escapism i'd say. Your mind just goes back to the golden era of your lifetime so naturally you want to be fully back in there. The issue would be for your mind to be stuck in that state constantly.
