I know this franchise thanks to /f/. I've never played it and I think I won't.

1) Waifuism, AKA some players literally fell in love with the characters and don't want to let go of them

2)Lack of consensus; believe it or not, there are still things left to discuss.
Not all points have been settled, not all arguments have been laid down and communicated.
A couple of routes still divide people with regard to their quality, and very rarely does one side make concessions to the other

3) Some people just come here to socialise with like-minded individuals

In the winter of 2023/24 I used to go for winter nightwalks very often. It was very cold and the city was empty, it was very serene.

Winter is the comfiest you can ever be. The weather, the scenery, the overall feel is just spot on. I can understand how others can like summer more but i'll be damned if i ever understand how they manage with all this heat. Cold is something you can fight one way or another, excessive heat is always there even if you strip naked and have 10 fans blasting on you. Of course there's also the underrated Fall/Autumn which is a sweet spot of chilly atmosphere but not by much. People say its moody in a bad way and i disagree, it gives a nice feeling walking around when the air doesnt stifle you in any way and you can just feel the for a lack of a better word, neutrality of the season.

To say something explicitly KS-related, your statements about Act 1 ending with conflict resolved reminds me a bit of Shizune's route as well. The last couple summers were so rough, the air around you was suffocating and i doubt it was any different outside the city. Why is Lilly's neutral ending framed as a neutral ending when it's a BAD ending? She led Hisao on a wild goose chase, nearly fucked him to death, expected full honesty from him while withholding vital information (that she would be moving to Scotland), and then dumps Hanako (who, despite her progression, is still dependent on her) into his lap. Hanako's feelings of abandonment will worsen when yet another mother figure disappears from her life forever, and Hisao is left to pick up the pieces. How is this not a BAD ending?

I have no idea how Lilly abandoning Hisao and Hanako (or almost-abandoning them if it's the good ending) could suit this heroic description in your head.

In fact, of all the romantic options, it seems to me that Lilly is the one who is genuinely convinced she doesn't need to mature any further by the time she meet Hisao.
The only element of radical change in her route is a clearly negative one that you're supposed to neutralise, whereas with the other four, it is clear they want to change in some way and become something slightly different than they currently are.
Emi wants to get over her grief, Rin wants to find someone who will get her, Shizune wants to find a way to relax and stop posturing, Hanako wants to become more independent.
Lilly isn't really trying to do anything other than drink tea, pass tests and eventually, become an English teacher. And somehow she has no problem obeying an order that will clearly disrupt not only her social life, but her studies as well.

Yeah, Strength was fine since a spammable 80 power move, while not amazing, is still useful in the context of the game for beating up random mons, especially if you put it on a normal type for the STAB.
Cut on the other hand always feels like a waste since it's only 50 power and almost every pokemon that can learn it also can learn Slash (70 power with increased crit chance).

Well also you have to remember that for alot of students thier disabilities can be a taboo subject for some of them, we saw how sheepish Hiaso is at the start to tell others about his disability, so I'm assuming the mo is people will tell you if they want, but it's thier story to tell. So for Emi to blab about it behind his back could be seen as pretty rude. Plus the captain only gets mentioned like 3, 4 times tops, and during those times he is mentioned, his disability wouldn't affect why he's being mentioned in the first place, so I don't see why Emi would need to specify it.

Lilly lies to Hisao, forces him to be brutally honest while withholding vital information for months, and nearly fucks him to death.
In the good ending, she causes him to suffer another heart attack.
In the BAD ending, she ditches Hanako and Hisao. She dumps Hanako into Hisao's lap, so to speak. It's reasonable to assume that after Lilly's departure, Hanako would revert into her shell, and now she's entirely Hisao's problem to manage. I think she would likely develop Emi-esque abandonment issues, seeing another mother figure disappear from her life to no fault of her own.
That's the worst thing anyone does in the game. I maintain that Kenji is innocent.
Lilly deserves to be criticized for getting away Scott-free with abandoning Hisao and Hanako like that. She doesn't deserve the callous conduct that >>527158347 and >>527158520
