I mean for you it really should be tailored for hiking and mountains. Bleeding control, staying hydrated, not shitting yourself, being able to keep moving after sustaining an injury. Cravats are a solid shout and incredibly versatile, practice tying one with one hand. I know some SAR guys even carry something like the Garmin Mini 2 (the one with the distress beacon) in their IFAK when in the mountains. Their logic being that if they are having to break into this kit they are in a pretty dire situation. Just food for thought.
