Here's one which has been on my mind for a while (rekindled within me by a certain doujin):

Assuming you intend to be some epic wizard zapping people into books or walls (i.e. not the object itself), the "magic" which you use you imprison people requires a great deal of preparation. Most notably, it involves you yourself entering these object prisons in order to prepare them from the inside. Without such tedious preparation, your victims could easily escape or the imprisonment may not succeed to begin with. A simple analogy would be something of a cognitive labyrinth with many exits which you must find and seal from the inside. The experience of the "interior" varies depending on the item in question, and additional preparation is also required for any object in which the prisoner will experience anything besides being frozen in place without sensation. During your time inside, you will experience whatever you intend your victims to experience, be it eternal void or sexual torture, while you complete your work. Importantly, you must not forget to preserve a designated exit to seal from the outside or you will be unable to leave. Additionally, the time it takes to complete your tasks inside varies significantly depending on the complexity of your construction. It could be a couple of hours to multiple days. Thus, there is a slight risk that if someone else were to come across you whilst you are inside and knew what they were doing, they could trap you without your knowledge.
