If you made naruto threads in the early 2010s, you'd get spammed to hell and get told to kill yourself. Then Naruto ended, Dragon Ball Super started airing, Bleach ended, and you saw the board become much more open with threads about shonen shit.

I genuinely wonder what happened to the old guard that was gatekeeping. Did they get jobs and thus, too busy to shitpost? Did they simply give up? Did they go to anime cons and realize that what they were doing was autistic as fuck?
