Just don't be a fencesitter.
I've seen relatively well known artists get "cancelled" or attacked several times because they got accused of "liking proshipper stuff" by a bunch of antis, who would take any response as confirmation of guilt anyways. But fencesitter gonna sit on the fence and say "I'm not proship or antiship, I have a life!", even though this is a false dichotomy (there are normal people, and people who get up in arms about fetishes; they are not opposites). And so, they will have to continue fending off drama after drama until they come out as an incest or rape enjoyer or some shit, or until someone digs up their million year old tumblr where they posted dubcon one(1) time, and use that as justification to doxx them.
