I completely agree. Heavensward was a tight succinct story, wasn't overbearing (still had mmo pacing in Sea of Clouds though) yet base Heavensward had 8hours of cutscenes can you believe that? Can you fucking believe it managed to tell it's story in base Heavensward in only 8 hours of cutscenes while Dawntrail told it's story in based 7.0 in 21 hours of cutscenes.
Heavensward 3.0, 8hours.
Dawntrail 7.0, 21 hours.
This proves to me using FFXIV itself as a benchmark that longer does not equal quality.
