Imagine trying to save hostages by occupying a strip that contains over a million angry, desperate people. It's no wonder why Chief of Staff Zamir is so against this new occupation of Gaza as he has the two brain cells required to understand how shitty of an idea this is.
They are going into Gaza to rescue hostages and will end up stuck, traumatized, and taken as hostages THEMSELVES; this will all happen while Israel's economy is already being crushed under its own detritus. Don't forget about the thousands of homeless kikes that lost everything in Israel's short spat with Iran. Imagine how weak Israel's borders are going to be as they focus their resources into this.
