Obviously a morning forest scene is going to have some fog, we're talking about every single game having tons of fog in every situation and every time of day, we're talking about directors doing remasters of their old movies and making them blue and washed out all of a sudden, we're talking about anime glowing like the fucking sun at all times, Hollywood movies being grey sludge messes

We literally have countless examples of old media where the artists deliberately chose to use clear and vibrant colors and heavy contrast where they could've used lighter colors or fog, and then a remake of that same media just pumping tons of fog everywhere into the same fucking scenes when they have the old ones for comparison right fucking there in front of them
