If I show you the art of an artifact creature card from any set, there's a good chance you'll guess it's an artifact creature, maybe it's colourless, maybe it's coloured but you'll see a robotish thing and you'll get it right a lot of the time How would you solve this for enchantment creatures? Sagas work for sure but that's because the card frame changes so much I'm talking about the other ones. In THB they do these constellation/galaxy effects but I think they're too subtle and don't really work too well to make them distinguishable. In NEO there are these flying spirit things around the cards but it doesn't really direct me to think enchantment, it could be a magical effect the card does or something. Duskmourn has nightmares and glimmers, the nightmares could just be random creatures in Innistrad, the glimmers are spirits but how do you distinguish from non enchantment spirits in another set? They glow but that sounds set specific for being glimmers, not for being enchantment creatures. Anyways, any ideas on how to make enchantment creatures have a more cohesive distinguishable art among different sets?
