Orks are Da Best because you can present them as comically or seriously as you like and anywhere in between, and they still work just as well. They can be a gang of rascal oafs just out to have a good time, or monstrous predators who cannot be reasoned with or easily fooled because they only care about where to most directly fight and destroy, and they have the cunning and brutality to make your schemes and traps backfire in the most brutal way.
