I can see the point and vision. Doctor Who's been having issues getting new audiences in for ages, especially kids. So try and get them while they're young and hope they stick around for the main show in future years and try to also throw it in as a bonus to any production company as the next possible Bluey (which it'll unlikely achieve)

That said. Doesn't help one bit with making this RTD2/Whoniverse era stop feeling so aimless.
