Not around here, not even at bases that have in the past. There was no nationwide, well coordinated, publicized and distributed thing going on because all the oxygen was sucked up by the Washington DC Trump Bday party borefest. He has to make everything about himself and his own spectacle, don't even bother trying to deny it as if we can't see him plaster his picture all over the place.

No, I don't want to be mad, but yes I am genuinely really fucking mad and getting madder as I think about it more about how such an occasion turned into what we saw yesterday. US military has historically been a unifying force of good and respected across broad swaths of society. Trump pissed on that. At least he can't take 4th of July from us, and he'll be long fucking dead and burning in hell when the 250th anniversary of the US Constitution comes around.
